Diagnostic Services

If you’re looking to join the practice, this is where you’d start. During your first appointment we will examine your teeth, gums, and bite. We will take any necessary X-rays to ensure nothing is missed. After a discussion to ensure you are fully informed you will be provided with a detailed treatment plan including costs.
This includes an examination of all teeth and surrounding tissue to check for any signs of tooth decay or disease.
A routine exam is carried out every 6-12 months depending on our assessment of your personal needs.
This includes an assessment of your gum condition and all surrounding soft tissues along with gentle removal of any build of deposits. We will discuss how to maintain healthy teeth and gums for the rest of your life.
Patients with more advanced periodontal condition will require more detailed assessment and treatment, this may include X-Rays.
These are taken to help diagnose disease or prior to straightening. Especially important if previous orthodontic treatment has been carried out. A very low level of radiation is needed.
This is an X-Ray to show an image of all your teeth and surrounding structures in your mouth. It is used to help identify and diagnose tooth decay, impacted and un-erupted teeth, abscesses, etc.

This fee is added for the following instances:
- Emergency services needed during the practices closing hours
- House calls during the practice’s normal hours
Patients are billed 50% of their planned treatment if they cancel their appointment less than 24 hours in advance.
No charge is applied if an appointment is canceled more than 24 hours in advance.
